Coming Home To Our Bodies

I’ve been thinking.

Maybe a little bit too much.

And that’s really the problem.

We ladies live in our heads 90% of the time.  Except the brain is only one small part of the whole. Sure it’s a pretty darn important organ, but it’s not the only thing.

Motherhood SO took me out of head and brought me back into my body where I rightfully belong.

::Pause::

We are spiritual beings having a physical experience in this world. We can’t take our physical existence for granted, like I did the past 30+ years in my life. My religion taught me well the good virtues of Abstinence and Sacrifice and Spiritual Discipline, to the exclusion of Pleasure and Sensuality and Play and Delight!

And now that I’m waking up to all the Wonder of the Divine Feminine, I can’t believe how much I was missing this whole time! There is so much of Life on Earth to Savor. So much in the Moment that is good and beautiful and orgasmic and breathtaking and filling. So much that is Heaven now, not later.

::Pause::

So a note to myself:

Love your whole Body (and not just your mind!) as much as you Love your Spirit. Nourish both as extravagantly as you can. You came into this world with both, for good reason.

It’s how you will leave your Legacy when it’s all said and done.

And perhaps more importantly, it’s how you will live out your Divinely Feminine life and enjoy every single second of it.
